I am so excited today! darling Mimie is visiting me here in London for a week HUGE shopping trip from next Monday onwards. I am a panicking as the new curtain i am making half done! you see, we decided to replace the old curtain in the guest bedroom about 2 weeks ago, we gone curtain shopping and i came across the sale rack, tuck back at the bottom of the rack i found these beautiful silk damask fabric! that already made into a curtain, unfort it was 3 inch short to the lenght that we required. We decided to buy it anyway as it was reduced from £1400 to £400! and non refundable. The saving we made will go towards other things for the house.

Tomorrow i had to pick up a hire sewing machine, very cheap and convenience, and only had two days to do the job, which i don't really mind as i had to stay in door anyway to keep an eye to the 3 difference service people that are coming around to do jobs in the flat. For a day NO TV, NO INTERNET? emmmmmm...........me no likey!

1 - The British telecoms ( for the Internet )
2 - The sky people ( for my Sky channel )
3 - The TV installation people ( who had to mount my new 48 inch TV on the wall)

so i am pretty much busy tomorrow and hope everything done before Mimie arrived, oh! and my husband friend visiting on Sunday! fingers cross! hope it all done by friday.

Shop till it drop on you?!

i knew it is not funny, but today, while having my breakfast and reading the newspaper, something caught my attention, SHOPAHOLIC KILLED BY CONSUMER GOOD, what? i nearly choke on my tea! after further reading it kinda sad and funny at the same time, so the story is like this,

SHOPAHOLIC Joan Cunnane was crushed to death under a MOUNTAIN of consumer goodies hoarded in her home.

The devout Catholic, 77, crammed tons of items into the house after pursuing a 16-year addiction to high street shopping.

Grey haired Joan went to Mass religiously every week but away from church she became one of Britain’s oldest shopaholics.

Despite buying thousands of pounds worth of goods, Joan did not open many of them - and hoarded the items instead neatly around her £180,000 bungalow.

Joan’s home was so stuffed with brand new consumer valuables she had to make a two foot wide path round her house to get about.

Yet she kept the property in Heaton Mersey, near Stockport, tidy and everything was neatly put in order.

Tragedy struck on Boxing Day night when Joan a retired BT operator went into a back bedroom and a collection of suitcases piled to the ceiling fell on top of her.

She was buried alive.

But the house was so crammed with stuff cops issued a MISSING PERSONS appeal as they sent in a sniffer dog to find her.

An expert search team and environmental health officers were also called in to help after the sniffer dog did not find anything.

The search took almost TWO DAYS before the pensioner was found buried under three feet of suitcases.

Her red Rover Metro car was also packed to the brim with consumer goods including candles, umbrellas and coats.

Today her best mate Roy Moran, 77, said: “She was an only child, and had never married.

“I think it just gave her pleasure to buy things, none of it was really essential. I once asked her how many scarves she had.

”She said, she thought about 300. I asked her why she needed that many. She said, they were all different colours. She brought everything - lots of clothes.

it so strange isnt it? how can sameone buying stuff and never open it for so many item and so many years? imagine ? i cant. world are full of strange people.........including me!

Since my 3 favourite programme Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor and Merlin had ended. My Saturday Night had become a bit tat boring............ you see, Andrew and I used to stay in on Saturday to watch these 3 programme and only go out on Friday or Thursday night. Now it has been replace by Celebrity Big Brother 2009, which run every evening for an hour for the next couple of weeks. For you who does not know what Celebrities Big Brother is, it is a reality television show where, in each series, a group of Celebrities live together in the Big Brother House, isolated from the outside world but continuously watched by television cameras. Each series lasts for around 3 weeks, and there are usually fewer than 12 participants. The housemates try to win a cash prize by avoiding periodic evictions from the house. Most celebrities are paid to be in the programme and try to revived their career. same make it some doesn't.

I never paid attention to celebrity Big brother, only the last 2 years, it has caught my attentions, and it was so funny last year, i end up glue up to the TV every evening . well.......since there is nothing else to watch? why not! here are the highlight of last year, it actually so hilariously embarrassing for UK to have a celebrities behaving in such common manners, at the end she did apologies to Shilpa shetty. Jade Goddy and the two other girls were label as bullied by UK press and did not have a good career ever since. I wonder what going to happen this year!
