MY LITTLE PRINCESS!

Finally, i had the biggest gift EVER! my little bundle of joy Sophie Lucyanah Graham were born on the 1 May 2009, weight 2.9kg, and most of all healthy! it was a very emotional roller coaster.
it all begin the night of 30 april 2009, i was about 37 week pregnant, at home all by myself as Husband Andrew out for the night drinking and catching up with his work friend in town. I was watching TV in bed all night, around 10pm, i begin to feel sooo relax and start doing my Prenial Massage ( so no tears down under! ) . As i had been going to the toilet to pee so often, tonight i begin to go more often then usual and took no notice of it. But all of a sudden,( a gush of water start to come out! OH NO!
i got panic and grab this adult diaper ( look so horrendous ! )and start wearing them as i don't want to wet my new carpet, rang my husband and an hour later we were at the hospital and i am in excruciating pain and crying.......

I was in the best of care, in a private room with my own Nurse, midwife and consultant.
Every 4 hours they have to check how many centimeter i am dilating, after 12 hours , i am not dilating enough! 1 cm every four hours and the baby were ready to pop out but i were not opening and it were too narrow for the baby to had to go through, so the only solutions is to go through cesarean ! i was sooooo upset as i preferred natural birth. Since i was so druged up( air and gas, and epidural ), i just have to say yes...

at 7.58pm Baby Sophie were born ......

this is her first pictures , and unfortunately she develop a joundis and we had to stay at the hospital for a week! Sophie had to stay under the light for 3 days and she received the all clear and i was so relieves to be home . And the sleepless night begin...........

Happy Easter

Wishing Everyone Happy Easter! eat lots of Chocolate eggs for me!!! i can just imagine in envy as i had to STOP eating sweet stuff for 10 weeks! yes.......STOP! apparently i develop a high glucose level in my pregnancy as my hormone changes, i had to prick myself on my fingers 3 times a day to check my sugar level ! since i had phobia of needles and blood, it took me a while to do this every time! but i had too as it is important to keep it low as other wise the baby will get too big to go through the bright tunnel! and quick recovery after labour.

So, no more cakes, donuts, cupcakes or anything with high sugar level! its makes grocery shopping 30min longer as i had to read the labels of every stuff before it goes in my shopping trolley. it make me soooooo upset but i had to do this for my own good. wish me luck against all the temptations!
